  1. Voice separation. With some stations taking the new, "less is more" approach, you have the same voices doing all of their production. Therefore, your company's advertising just isn't standing out from the other spots so often stuffed into a commercial break.

  2. Copywriter network. Ask your sales executive who will be writing your spot. Eight stations may have only one creative copywriter, if they have one at all. In many cases, the sales executive who convinced you to buy time may also be the person writing your commerical — on top of their already crammed schedule.
